Memory Matters’ training courses are energetic, interactive, and enjoyable, designed to deepen understanding of the key concepts of person-centred care for anyone involved in supporting people living with dementia.
Participants gain valuable insight into the needs and experiences of those living with dementia through our engaging training and education. The courses foster a deeper appreciation for the powerful role each individual can play in enhancing the lives of people with dementia, promoting dignity, value, and creative approaches to care.
Training sessions are available both face-to-face and as live, interactive lessons on Zoom.

CST Facilitators Training
Memory Matters have delivered CST sessions on a daily basis in a variety of settings for the past 10 years and have a wealth of experience to share with you.

This interactive dementia workshop uses creative and engaging techniques that will have you interested from the moment it begins.

Exploring Dementia: Join Our Face-to-Face Awareness Training
This 3-hour, in-person session will take place on Friday 5th December and will be led by our experienced and knowledgeable trainers who bring years of real-world experience working alongside people living with dementia.
During the session, you’ll:
Explore what dementia is — gain a clear understanding of the condition and how it affects the brain.
Learn about common symptoms and how they can vary from person to person.
Discover the challenges that people living with dementia may face in their daily lives.
Build your communication skills — learn how to connect and communicate more effectively with empathy and understanding.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone — whether you’re a carer, professional, family member, or simply curious — to deepen your understanding and make a difference in your community.

Duration: 3 hours ( 11am -2:45pm, includes 45 min break for lunch)
