Payroll Giving is one of the easiest ways for people to support a charity straight from their salary — before they even see the money.

Payroll Giving is a scheme that lets you donate to Memory Matters Foundation (Our Charity)  directly from your wages every payday. The money comes out of your salary before tax is applied, which means your donation costs you less than you might think.

So, for example:

  • If you donate £10, it could only cost you around £8 (depending on your tax rate)

  • The charity still receives the full £10

It’s set up through your employer. Once you choose a charity and the amount you’d like to give, it’s automatically taken from your pay each month. You can change or stop it at any time through your payroll provider or HR team.

It’s a simple, steady way to give that doesn’t require remembering to donate — it just happens quietly in the background, helping charities plan ahead with more stable funding.
