In March 2020 Memory Matters worked fast to move all community CST groups online. Now we are helping partners in Devon to do the same. You can view our webinar explaining the project here.

Many people said we wouldn’t be able to get people living with dementia to learn new skills and make the transition to online groups, particularly at a time where no family visitors were allowed to their home to help. However, within seven days from the lockdown announcement, we had our first vCST group up and running. Our driver was the belief that now more than ever we needed to keep people connected.

It wasn’t an easy journey and we believe that the learning that took place is valuable to other organisations.

Having received some funding from the Big Lottery COVID 19 Emergency fund, we are keen to help our partners in Devon to roll out vCST in their area. This webinar introduces the project.
